A rare academic vase from the Keswick School of Industrial Arts from the hand of Tom sparke. The piece was made when he was 15 years old and shows an early interpretation of the green man to the base of the double handles. There is a band of deep repousee decoration to the neck showing the skill of the man. Tom sparke was a very important worker at the school which this site will show. Fully and correctly marked along with the scratched markings "this piece was made by me Tom sparke aged 15 years. Amazing. Measuring 8"h.
