A rare of the rare pair of silver footed bowls/salts in silver from the Keswick school of industrial art designed by Isobel McBean and made while she was still at the school……Working for less than a year Isobel McBean silver is scarce and very few pieces can be accurately attributed to her…..They are made with the greatest of skill…..The planished bowls are mounted on three hammered legs with an internal bar behind for strength……Terminating on spade feet…..With the joins to the body also designed as spade ends beautifully clean soldered……They are a dated pair fully and correctly hallmarked for Birmingham 1901/2…..In Excellent original condition……
