A rare jewel from the Keswick school of industrial art…..The belt buckle worked in silver embellished with four enamelled green cabochons….The Cabochons are surmounted by a swirl of repousse work showing a stylised art nouveau leaf form…..Mirrored on the opposite clasp……A beautifully worked pice with a hammered form creating a lightly textured surface from the hammering…..With a plain false back with double belt straps and clasp…..Fully and correctly marked to the back with the Keswick school jewellery stamp to both sides of the piece…..In fabulous condition…..Only the second silver buckle I have ever seen from the school…..C1900/10
