The rare of the rare in silver spoons from the Keswick school of industrial art designed by Isobel McBean and made while she was still at the school.Working for less than a year Isobel McBeans silver is scarce and very few pieces can be accurately attributed to her.The spoon stems are made to represent a stylised flower head and are made in two parts with pierced decoration terminating in rounded bowls attached separately onto a claw.They are a dated pair fully and correctly hallmarked for Birmingham 1901.Excellent condition.
