A Keswick school of industrial art silver toasting fork….The silver fork made of heavy gauge silver wore that has been beautifully worked to form the prongs and twisted form of the shaft….Mounted to a silver socket that has been pinned to an ebony wood shaft….A very well known design from the school but rarely seen on the market….Made for use as the prongs are pointed….In excellent condition with only a slight split to the ebony handle…Fully and correctly marked although the marks are rubbed….Hallmarked for Chester….
