A scarce piece of early modernist silver designed and executed by the renowned Joyce Rosemary Himsworth of the Sheffield Guild.The caddy spoon is almost deco but being made in the war years is more akin to early modernism.A beautiful piece and getting much harder to find.Simplicity done well…..The bowl being planished.Fully and correctly marked JRH carrying the Sheffield assay marks for 1941.lovely condition.
