A rare matching pair of Alexander Ritchie Iona Celtic art silver buckles….The buckles decorated with Celtic dogs of war to the longer sides with Celtic birds to the shorter side and Celtic knots to the corners….. A tremendous amount of detailed work and beautifully executed….In wonderful original condition having been given a light clean….Carrying the marks of CF*FS his hallmarks sponsor and his own Mark of AR Iona as well as Sterling hallmarks for Birmingham 1908….The buckles carry matching marks and have obviously been a pair all their lives and will be sold as such….Lovely in the hand….. Delighted to have them in my stock…..
