A beautiful rare form silver brooch from the Iona Celtic art of Alexander and Euphemia Ritchie……The brooch is exquisite in its finish and detail showing a design of two birds with entwined Celtic entrelac forms…..A large version which was most likely a sash brooch for traditional dress….The piece is fully and correctly marked with their conjoined AER mark which is always nice to find along with the Iona stamps and a design reg number for 1917….In excellent original condition…..Polished as new….
