A cracking piece of Iona Celtic art by Iain MacCormick.The wall pocket decorated with a scene from Mackinnons cross.The Celtic design to all three sides with the Griffin to the front base.The work is very good and if it were not marked for IMC IONA you would presume it was the work of AR.A shape I have never come across before and one that lends itself nicely to the design.Excellent condition with hanging loop lacking.
