A rare little caddy spoon from the Morecambe HEC in copper.The handle decorated with leaf tendrils.The caddy spoon is made in the same manner as the Keswick school.The planished round bowl with waisted handle tapered out to a wide edge.Fully and correctly marked for Morecambe HEC.C1910.

Thomas Sparks from the Keswick school of industrial arts founded the Morecambe HEC on his arrival back to England from Ireland where he helped with the foundation of the Youghal art metal workers.Having left the school in 1904 for Youghal in Ireland returning in 1908.
