Keswick school of industrial art craftsmanship shown to its best…..A rare copper offset photo frame….The copper worked with beautiful repousse work of flowing flower heads ….Seed pods….and scrolls in four distinctive sections…..Surrounding the offset aperture which is a very Keswick design feature….The outer edge on a half wire with the aperture folded….Again a very Keswick feature…..The back with a full copper slot for the glass and image….The back strut attached with a hinge and pin mechanism all in very heavy gauge copper….It is a beautifully made item….The colour has natural chestnut colour it has not been touched for decades….Fully and correctly marked to the small square panel bottom front right….In excellent original condition….Original glass….C1900/10
