A rare example of Keswick school of industrial art metal work in the form of a copper mounted Folio case for documents….The front copper panel worked with foliage decoration incorporating grotesques within the design….Mounted on leather with a copper black plate….The inside lined with a material which now has the odd moth hole….But it’s been kept as 100% original untouched condition….The whole is constructed with tiny hand made rivets…It’s a beautifully made piece and only the second documents case I have ever seen….Fully and correctly marked…C1890/1900….
