A beautiful scarce Keswick Home Industries W.H.Mawson silver on copper easel backed photo frame with Pomegranate's and Persephone….The design superbly worked with great skill with circle back stippling as you would expect….There is a great balance to the design and the work is precise and as you would expect it is of the highest quality…..The edge is wired as all Keswick made frames should be with a smooth rolled inner rim to the aperture…..The back plate has a double riveted fixing with a flat easel back stand creating a locking mechanism to the top edge……All made as it should be…..The piece is marked to the back base of the stand W.H.Mawson KESWICK…..It really is a joy….Excellent condition….The silver plate to the front has virtually all been polished away leaving a warm glow to the polished copper…..As a consequence the design is still crisp having been protected by the plate…..C1910
