A superb arts and crafts copper mirror decorated with double peacocks...The peacocks sat atop the top edge in mirror images with their flowing tails worked the whole length of both side and flowing down to the base edge to meet in the middle……The centre top between the peacocks decorated with a peacock head tail feather….The copper panel attached to its original wooden back with pins……The top edge having a rounded folded and pinned fixing….The whole in unpolished condition showing a beautiful chocolate brown…..The very high pointe and pins showing a slightly lighter colour from dusting for over a century….The mirror plate again original showing a very low wide bevelled edge….Original lining to the back boards…..It’s just everything a high end high quality guild made mirror should be….Attributed to John Williams and the Guild of Handicrafts….Untouched and in superb original condition….One of the best mirrors I have had the pleasure of owning…..C1890/1900
