A beautiful arts and crafts tea caddy from the Newlyn school of metalworkers in Cornwall…..The caddy is decorated on the round with a rare design of courting seahorses and sea weed….The decoration is very good with only a little ware to the design….The size is also very unusual being much smaller than the standard caddy made at the guild …..carrying the word “Tea” to the lift off lid…..Tin lined for function….Full riveted wave edge seam…..Slightly domed base……Fully and correctly marked with the smaller Newlyn mark…..C1910
