A beautiful tea caddy from the Newlyn school of metalworkers in Cornwall…..The caddy is decorated on the round with double fish amongst sea weed….The decoration is very good with very little ware to the design…..The patina is excellent with an unpolished copper finish to both body and cover …..also carrying a fish design which is slightly worn through handling…...Tin lined for function….Full riveted wave edge seam…..An early piece which is pre 1906 hence unmarked but unmistakable….
