An excellent example of Newlyn copper.The box is decorated to all sides with fish to the front and top with shells to sides and back.Incorporating the most wonderful decorative hinge plate to the back.The decoration is still very good with scales still present on the fish.Excellent condition bar two small seam splits.Inconsequential to the actual piece and a common issue on these boxes.Fully lined.Fully and correctly marked.C1910
