A very nice piece of Cornish arts and crafts by Herbert Dyer from his Mousehole workshop….I would imagine Herbert knew the public house well and he has memorialised it on this tea caddy….Showing the street in Mousehole and the buildings and the named public house “The Keigwin Arms”….Very detailed work in copper on a classic Dyer shaped tea caddy….Pull off cover showing a Cornish lugger….About as Cornish and Mousehole as you could get…..Typical wavy riveted seam….In lovely condition…..Tinned inside……C1920…..
