A Keswick home industries W.H.Mawson variant copper table box based on a very well known Keswick school design with the addition of a masted ship…..The box is made as you would expect with a pencil line seam and angled foot….The pull off lid tightly fitting….The complex fine design as seen on another Keswick box listed on the site….But with Mawson doing his usual thing of changing it up….Maybe a unique piece made to a commission…..A lovely unusual piece of Keswick arts and crafts ….It can only be Mawson as Keswick would not alter the design…..C1905/10….Excellent darker patina…..
