A Scottish arts and crafts Celtic revival silver plated casket….Decorated with Celtic motifs to the top very reminiscent of the work of Alexander Ritchie of Iona….Beautifully made with typical squared feet….full hinge with double flap joins….Again typical of the work of Ritchie but the back stippling of wrong for him….So it cannot be attributed but possibly a follower….Its impossible to say but it is Scottish and in the Celtic revival style…..Fully wood lined….Excellent condition….C1910
